European poverty report on inclusive labour markets focuses on the challenges that should be tackled urgently to make European labour markets more accessible and more inclusive, based on our vision for sustainable social models. This latest Caritas report looks at the challenges that should be tackled urgently to make labour markets more inclusive and accessible, based on Caritas Europa’s vision for sustainable social models and on existing EU and Council of Europe processes, programmes and legal instruments. It also includes an overview of different measures being proposed at EU level to address these challenges and to respond to the lasting consequences of COVID-19 and concludes with Caritas’ policy recommendations. On February 21st, Caritas Europa will present the report and its findings and recommendations, and will debate with strategic partners and EU policymakers on how to truly make labour markets in Europe more inclusive.
