On December 13th, from 10 to 11 CET, join us online for the second webinar Better Incubation organises in collaboration with DG EMPL to better understand how BSOs can contribute tot he implmentation of the Social Economy Action Plan.

Webinar focus is on:

  • Funding instruments
  • Competence Centres for Social Innovation

About the funding instruments

Social economy and inclusive entrepreneurship are topics with transversal relevance for a variety of policy fields and economic sectors. Funding opportunities can therefore be found in most EU funding programmes. Some of these programmes include dedicated measures. Others can be tapped into by social economy and inclusive entrepreneurship actors, even if they do not target them explicitly. This webinar provides an overview of the most relevant EU funding programmes.

About the Competence Centres for Social Innovation

Funded in part through the 2014-2020 European Social Fund and the EU programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI) a series of six consortia were selected to set up national competence centres and drive social innovation – locally, regionally, nationally and transnationally.  Covering 25 countries and mobilising 148 organisations, consortia aim to cultivate networks, build capacities and synergies, spotlight efficiencies and develop the tools and methods that will be essential to growing social innovation (SI) across the EU.

Social innovation is a rapidly-developing aspect of ESF+ funding. The competence centre initiative will be critical to ensuring all communities benefit from all available opportunities. The webinar will clarify their roles and the way BSOs can interact with these centres.
